Arnold and I have thought of an idea for a class gathering. How about be among the first Singaporeans to visit Singapore's newest, largest and most anticipated airport terminal building, Changi Airport Terminal 3! Come discover how this monumental landmark will reshape the way we travel before it opens for operations on 9 January, 2008.
~
A guided tour is available which costs an affordable $3! The Guided Tours will be led by Open House Guides and will take approximately 45 – 60 minutes. The last Guided Tour will be at 4.00pm (weekdays) and 5.00pm (weekends). Reporting times to be confirmed at a later date.
~
After that, it's free and easy. We can explore the premises ourselves! We can have our lunch/dinner at the Changi Airport or head over to Changi Village to makan the famous delicacies there! We can also go to nearby shopping malls (White Sands, Tampines Mall, Century Square etc.) to jalan-jalan too. Or go to EXPO for ... i dunno wad ... Food Fair? IT Fair? Fun Fair? Or take a bumber boat from Changi Jetty to visit Singapore's very own rustic village, Pulau Ubin!

Dates: 12 Nov to 9 Dec 2007
Opening Hours:10.00 am – 5.00 pm (Weekdays), 9.00 am – 6.00 pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Pls participate in these polls so that we know how u feel about this class gathering. The schedule is quite tight. So the polls will end at 3 Dec, Monday 6 p.m. LATEST! sry for the short notice.
~
Preferably choose a weekday. Weekends, being weekends, will have more people. PLUS... Singaporeans, being Singaporeans, always "go last-minute". So there will be relatively more people during weekends and spaces available will be limited.

ANNEX B: A message from Changi Airport, Singapore
~
"Changi Airport has received a consistent record of accolades. These successes have been due, in no small measures, to the foresight of those guiding the development of civil aviation in Singapore, to the relentless pursuit of a liberal air policy to open up Singapore to the rest of the world and to the emphasis on competitiveness, efficiency and service. Since commencing operations on 1 July 1981, Changi Airport has never failed to receive a deficiency-free rating by the International Federation of Airlines Pilot Association (IFALPA) for its safe and efficient air traffic services. So What are YOU waiting for? Come down now! "
