Hi all. This is Zhi Hui here. I'm here to inform you guys about a CIP opportunity from the Triathlon Association of Singapore. Do read below for the details if you're interested. Anyway it's an email i received from them. Do inform me if you're interested to sign up for any volunteering roles mentioned below by 5 April 2008, Saturday (around two weeks from now) so i can help you register for it.
Volunteer for TAS Inter-Collegiate & Schools Aquathlon Challenge 2008
JOIN US! To participate in the TAS First volunteer activity this year, TAS Inter-Collegiate & Schools Aquathlon Challenge 2008.
This year, we are targeting 750 school student & staff participants. If you are not taking part this year and would like to support the multi-sport community (who may include your friends & family members), COME!!! Join our volunteer group and cheer for your school representatives.
About 150 volunteers will be required for this event. There will be pre-race activities like goodie-bag & race kit packing sessions, race kit collection; and the event day itself. There will be a volunteers’ briefing for all the team leaders & ICs prior to the event day. Your team leaders will then brief you on actual event day. In addition, volunteers who will be helping out will be informed of the event day details of the briefing thought an email.

1. RacKit & GoodieBag Packing: 19-Apr, 11am at TAS Office, Delta Swimming Complex
2. Volunteer IC Briefing: 19-Apr, 10pm at TAS Office, Delta Swimming Complex
3. Race Kit Collection: 21-Apr, 9.30am to 7.30pm at TAS Office, Delta Swimming Complex

Anyway i dont think we can volunteer at SPCA coz some of us are afraid of the animals. i have also found out that they require commitment from volunteers i.e. it's not a one-time cip thing.
Also, Amy suggested that we can help out at an old folks' home/ day care centre.
